Admin,

I'd like to suggest the suspension of a function I believe does more harm than good to the user experience here.
I don't have a means to record my device screen, to make a video of what I'm talking about but I'll try to explain it in detail in as few words as possible.

Why a user tries to make a post, on the photo upload feature, after clicking on "Upload" and it redirects to one's device gallery to select a photo, and then the photo loads as it returns to Blaqsbi typing (message body) page, it again automatically opens another page to allow for editing of the photo that's just uploaded. And this last part is what I think isn't necessary and should be suspended.

My reasons for suggesting this is;
1. It took me a while to get use to that automatic pop-up of another screen that covers my trying page. And it sure is really causing some confusion for many new members.

Like me in my early days, some of these new users don't really stay patient enough to keep trying till they get it right. Once the pop-up happens, they get confuse and don't know how to go back to the typing page to either type in their accompanying write-up with the photo or just a simple title. And my second reason...

2. Remember that besides every photo that's successfully uploaded, they're options to Edit, Make Main, Add Text or Delete. So if a person wishes to edit a photo they've uploaded, they can just use any of these options as I believe that's what they're there for. Instead of the somewhat irrelevant auto pop-up that leaves folks rather confuse.

So please think on this and lemme know what you think either for it against my suggestion.

Cheers!
@medgarparks Totally understood. I see the change has been made. I'm glad I was able to point that one out; now it'll be easier for some new folks to post photos an be less frustrated while doing so.

I also noticed you've also removed the written titles of the other four features attached to uploaded photos and left only their symbols. That's also a good one.

  In light of the fact that Racial Trauma in the forms of Transmitted Traumatic Stressors, Vicarious Traumatic Stressors, Direct Traumatic Stressors, Systemic Racism, and Individual Racism are all valid clinical stressors on the African community, DO YOU BELIEVE that African people should make it a priority to 1) Build monuments to memorialize and honor our ancestors while also asserting a true narrative of resistance and 2) Actively work to develop the framework, tools, and strategy to heal masses of African people across the diaspora?
